Retaining Washers, also known as Retention Washers or Anti-Loss Washers, are fasteners that are designed to lock in place after installation - creating a secure fastening assembly. The are designed so the inside diameter grips the outside of a screw shank. The washer easily slides on to screw, but is retained on the screw once assembled.
