HISTORY

Originally established in a small room in a little-known city in the North East of Italy more thank 50 years ago, Ferplast has become through the years what we see today: a multinational company, leader in its sector. Durable success is the result of hard work, attention to the details, care for the clients and innovation of the product. Ferplast now produces over 4000 types of products, numbers approximately 1,000 employees, distributes in no less than 80 countries in all continents, and has commercial branches in Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Poland, Benelux, Ukraine, Slovakia, Russia, China, South America. It has three production sites, in Italy, Ukraine and in the Slovak Republic.

Our final clients and judges are the animals. We manufacture products for cats, dogs, small animals like rabbits, hamsters, mice, ferrets and guinea pigs, birds, chickens, fish and amphibians. In each sector and for each family of animals, you will find the most innovative solutions.

The range of products is divided into the following main areas:

Dogs & Cats : all the solutions for life, care, relaxing, hygiene, feeding, transport, movement and playtime;

Small Animals and Bird: cages, pet carriers and accessories for rodents, ferrets, hamsters, mice, guinea-pigs, squirrels, rabbits and other small animals;

Birds: cages, aviaries, pedestals and accessories for all species of domestic birds, from canaries to parrots;

Aquarium & Accessories: aquariums, internal filters, heaters, pumps and accessories for the world of fishes and aquatic plants.

8% of Ferplast annual turnover is reinvested in improving its products, creating new ideas and solutions for animal well-being and technologies that are more innovative than the others on the market, often ahead of future trends and fashions. We hold several international patents that prove the company's ability to innovate and research: actually more than 100 products are patented.

We directly control the entire manufacturing process: from the choice of raw materials to the delivering of the finished product.
