Etsy updates the information summary method of the seller's payment account and adds tool tips

1. Simple and clear financial summary

Etsy updated the way to summarize information: refunds, total sales and taxes, making it easier for sellers to understand their financial situation. In these summaries, all refunds, points, fees and sales taxes are listed separately.

INew summary group

The Activity Summary is now divided into four parts: Sales, Fees, Marketing and Shipping (if qualified).

At present, the shipping labels on Etsy can be provided to sellers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Note that Sales tax/VAT will appear in the corresponding section of the summary:

1. According to the local laws and regulations of the Buyer and the Seller, the Buyer may charge business tax/VAT on its orders. Etsy requires to collect the business tax/VAT and remit the Sales tax/VAT to the local tax authority.

This is paid by the buyer in the order and will be displayed under "Sales tax paid by buyer (Submitted)" or "VAT paid by buyer (Submitted)" in the sales section of the seller's payment account.

2. According to the local tax law, some sellers may have to pay VAT for their sales fees. This is a tax paid by the seller and will be charged in the Fees, Marketing, or Shipping section. This can be marked as sales tax or VAT, GST or HST, depending on local regulations and market terminology.

（1）Sales summary

Etsy sellers can see "Total sales", or the amount paid by buyers for orders.

Refunds are now divided into "Refunds".

（2）Fees summary

Listing fee, handling fee and transaction fee are now listed separately. When the seller gets a fee refund or points, it is explicitly called "Credits" under each section.

If the seller receives an Etsy fee debit or credit card within the selected time, it will be displayed as "Misc. Etsy debit" and "Misc. Etsy credit" under the Fees summary.

The seller will see any related marketing expenses, such as Etsy AdsOffsite Ads, Etsy Plus subscription.

（4）Shipping summary
