Nanjing Textiles Import & Export Corp., Ltd (abbreviated as NANTEX in the following) was founded in 1978 when was the beginning of the reform and opening up in China. In the year of 1988, NANTEX was authorized to do foreign trade business independently.

Adhering to the rich resource advantages of international import and export trade for more than 40 years, NANTEX engages in the import and export business of more than 10 categories and nearly a thousand varieties, with footprints in 180 countries and regions around the world and has more than a thousand domestic and foreign customers. Besides, NANTEX has earned a total of $10 billion in foreign exchange in last 40years, ranking among China's top 500 enterprises in import and export volume and the 200 enterprises with the largest export volume in China.

In 2019, NANTEX achieved revenue of nearly 1 billion RMB and a total asset of 2.426 billion RMB, up 37.28% from the beginning. The export business, involving textile and clothing, mechanical and electrical equipment, chemical products, has formed a complete set of production and sales industry chain with raw material procurement, processing and production, independent export, e-commerce platform.

The import business, involving chemical raw materials EVA and POE, has an annual purchase volume of 40,000 tons, with a total amount of more than 50 million us dollars. It has been distributed throughout the country through its own sales channels, and has a complete business service mode such as information consulting for domestic enterprises
