Recently,Consumer Product Safety Commission of the United States(CPSC has announced the recall of a baby shower chair from Karmas Far, as the chair poses a drowning risk to infants.
A baby shower chair is a support used in bathtubs, bathtubs, or similar bathing equipment, which allows the baby to sit on it and provide support for its front and rear during the caregiver's bathing period. It does not include goods designed or intended to retain bathing water.
The recall involvesKarmas Far baby shower chairs were sold in Wal Mart, Amazon, Ebay, Wish and Bosonshop from August 2017 to October 2021, with prices ranging from $35 to $75, and about 900 of them were sold.
CPSC has not received any reports of casualties at present, but it is recommended that consumers immediately stop using the baby shower chair and contact Karmas Far to return the product.

In August, CPSC announced the recall of 120 Frieyss baby shower chairs. The above three baby shower chairs are all manufactured in China and have been recalled on the grounds that the products do not meet federal safety standards for stability, leg openings, and other requirements for baby shower chairs. They may overturn during use, posing a risk of drowning infants.
For baby shower chair products launched on Amazon, Amazon will require sellers to upload relevant products that have been tested and comply with the American Society for Testing and MaterialsF1967-19 standard (consumer safety regulations for baby shower chairs) and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (lead, phthalates).
If it is found through random inspection that there is no relevant certification, Amazon may delete relevant product information, suspend the permission to add new products or publish products, withhold payment, or even file a lawsuit.
