The rolling system of spiral roller bearings uses spiral rollers wound with steel belts. Therefore, they are called spiral roller bearings. This type of bearing has large elasticity and radial clearance, can bear large impact radial load, cannot bear axial load, and has low limit speed. It is only suitable for parts with low rotational accuracy and often with large shock loads. Bearing installation allows 0.5° inclination of the inner and outer ring axes. Due to the elastic deformation of this type of bearing, accuracy cannot be guaranteed during work, so the accuracy of spiral roller bearings is only normal grade, and there are no other precision grades. ZMJT052 spiral roller bearings are mostly used in major steel mills. Features of spiral roller bearings: The inner and outer rings of the bearing are made of alloy steel tape and assembled by special process processing. The spiral gap on the surface of the inner and outer ring of the bearing allows the lubricating oil to spread continuously and evenly over the working surface of the bearing. The bearing works under working conditions with a large temperature difference, and the bearing fitting size can be automatically compensated. The material will lose its hardness extremely when the temperature reaches above the tempering temperature. Therefore, spring steel is more suitable for high-temperature work. B) The spring steel has good elasticity, so it is easy to install. The inner ring can be installed in any position with the help of two hook wrenches, and the internal tension of the inner ring can fasten it to the shaft. It is relatively easy to process inner rings with tolerances of h9 or h1l with elastic materials. C) These bearings are durable and are less affected by dirt, iron chips, water and weak acids formed by falling iron powder and water. Thin-walled spiral rings leave a large space for large diameter rolling parts. These components are able to roll swag and foreign matter into the spiral gap of the spiral ring. This keeps the moving surface of the bearing clean as it rotates. D) The main advantage of screw bearings is that the outer ring can be reused many times, which makes it possible to rework it in the event of damage and bending due to temperature effects. In this case, the housing also needs to be adjusted. Only the spiral outer ring and not the complete set of bearings need to be changed, and all the remaining bearing components can be reused. The adjustment of the housing is carried out by increasing the diameter by 1 mm. For example, when the inner diameter is increased from 105mm to 106mm, the outer diameter of the spiral outer ring also needs to be increased by lmm for installation. This can be repeated until the diameter reaches 110mm. In this way, the outer ring of the bearing can be repeatedly machined 5 times. This can result in significant cost savings, especially if all the other bearing components can be reused 6 times.
